ON the door of the Yarborough Room in the White Hart Hotel in Lincoln, hangs a brass plaque.
It pays tribute to the contribution of two men in the city - Sir William Ashbee Tritton and Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, Lieutenant Walter G Wilson - who are generally accepted to be the innovators of the military tank.
The site, in Lincoln, used as a testing ground for the original military tank prototype is now home to one of the city's newest buildings, the Think Tank.
The name has a duel meaning - paying tribute to the site's history as well as the building's intended future as a place to nurture the culture of innovation within Lincoln and the surrounding area.
Fitting then that some of the Think Tank's latest tenants are art students from Lincoln University, using several of the workshops to design and create for their end of year shows.
Ann Povey, senior specialist in glass and ceramics says the aims for the students and the Think Tank were perfectly matched.
"The City of Lincoln Council is keen to develop creative industries and retain the students in the city. It's ideal for us here, too, in terms of this being a creative space and so close to the university so students are near to the campus facilities.

Neil Simpson, course leader for contemporary decorative crafts and furniture courses, explains why having the right environment and workspace is so important to the students in their final year.
"From our point of view it's been a really good move," says Neil. "Before, we were based in a building not conducive to what we do.
"The final year students have three shows. The most important one for passing the course is at the Sam Scorer gallery in Lincoln.
"The next show is in London and is where they will be picked up by gallery owners - if anyone has the potential to be successful, that's where they will be seen."
The third exhibition is one that Neil balenciaga Handags Replica hopes will provide an opportunity to show a lot more people in the city where the Think Tank is and what it's all about.
He says: "The third show is a faculty-wide exhibition, with several of the courses exhibiting at the same time in the summer.
"We are hoping to be able to use the foyer here at the Think Tank as it would be ideal.
"It would also get people coming here and introducing them to the notion of what the Think Tank is. Even if it just gets people in to look around.
"The working environment here appears to have excited the students and there seems to be a lot of commitment - they are happy to come in every day here."
Jamie Gould, a contemporary decorative crafts and fine art student, 21, is one of the students who has been enjoying the workspace.
She says: "It's a nice place to work as it's very quiet and there's enough space. But people locally don't seem to know the Think Tank's here."
The building is by no means full but John Latham, director of development and environmental services at City of Lincoln Council, says they are on course for meeting targets.
